Where the Deer and Buffaloaf

Take my word for it...if you haven't already, you will end up visiting Paint Bank,Va., if for no other reason than just to "plug in" and heal yourself, because you deserve it and no matter what route you choose to get here, it's a "Currier and Ives" drive. For at least one trip,I suggest the road less traveled, Rt.#635 at the White Rocks exit off #460. Now drive slow...you won't want to miss one iota of the 25 mile ride that stops flat on the square of Paint Bank. Note to the driver; you might just want to pull off onto the shoulder when you get to Hollow Hill Buffalo Farm...rubbernecking could be hazardess to you health while looking from one side to the other at the Buffalo and Deer aloing in the fields. While we don't offer deer at The Swinging Bridge Restaurant, we do offer prime Buffalo dishes, and this weekend "Buffaloaf"(Buffalo meatloaf) is our specialty. You'll want to taste this healthly, 'ole timey dish, pick up a recipe card next to the Buffalo freezer and get a 5% discount on the Buffalo meat you buy for that dish.
It's going to be a beautiful kickin' great time in Paint Bank with a special dinner for lovers tonight in the restaurant....great accomadations at the lodge with Valentine's lovers gifts....'ole time' specials through Sunday in the store and restaurant...so come on down to "the town" Paint Bank City limits..."The epicenter of Love" If you see Chuck Cupid, tell him I said "hey".
