Outdoor/Indoor

It's a good thing they plan Outdoor Sportsman shows for indoor or else they would have 7 people there...but they(who are They) did plan an outdoor show for the indoors today through Sunday at the Roanoke Civic Center. We have a booth this year and I'm real excited to see what all the hoopla is all about. Our hunt and fish division "Potts Creek Outfitters" headed up by a fly-fishin' machine...Josh Duncan...will be there to answer all your questions. Me, I'm just along for the fun of it...doleing out cups of homemade Buffalo Stew and samples of our soon to be famous Buffalo Jerky. Come by and let's talk, I'd love to meet you and tell you all about our "little piece of heaven".

Question of the Day...Does an increase in the number of wasps in the summer predict how the coming winter will be?
A. We are not aware that an increase in the wasp population serves as a weather predictor, however, the piece of folklore claims that when wasps are sealing twice as many live spiders in the mud incubator tubes to feed their young, you can expect a hard winter. Wow, who figures this stuff out...you can tell that these things were figured out befor TV, automobiles, cell phones, Blackberries, Computers or just about before LIFE itself.
